A letter short of Normal, for a representative that goes beyond the ordinary

Norma Orozco is a passionate and committed leader. She is a rank and file member of CWA Local 9415 and serves on the Board where she organizes and supports non-profit workers. She works full time as the Communications Manager at the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights. The daughter of Mexican Immigrants, Norma started her journey advocating for migrant rights at a very young age. She has over a decade of experience working with people who are most marginalized including migrants, BIPOC, incarcerated and formerly incarcerated community members, students, and working class families. She has extensive experience in legislative advocacy having worked in the Judiciary Committee under Senator Feinstein and pushing forward statewide bills on sentencing, re-entry, restorative justice, and public safety.

About Norma

My goal is to support you and your staff facilitate effective and engaging virtual spaces. Beyond hosting, I share my own tips and tricks to making digital spaces engaging while keeping them secure. I believe that when we lead by teaching, we create a better society in which we all thrive.
