I am running for to be your Assembly District 18 Delegate to the Democratic Party!
My Experience
I have 20 years of experience with legislative and electoral work. I currently serve as the Contractual Vice President for Communication Workers of America, Local 9415. I know that true power lies with the people, and true change comes when we invest in the working class.
I have worked in the halls of the Capitol in Washington DC under Senator Feinstein, I have also worked with and supported people who are currently behind bars in CA State Prison and Jails. I know that real solutions come when we put aside greed and start working together to build a future that takes us all into account.
Why I am Running
As an American with migrant roots, I have never taken my right to vote, or run, for granted. I have over a decade of working with elections and policy, from being a grassroot organizer, to pushing forward legislation that supports bringing true safety to all of our communities. Our Democratic System is in crisis, which is why I have decided to run; to speak up and stand up to corporate interests who have manipulated our electoral process for too long.
I am tired of the same failures. Tired of them saying that there is no space for something new, something different. 2025 literally started in flames, it is time we stop thinking of profits, and start focusing on people. The working class, our children, our elders. For centuries Native Americans stewarded this earth, and all of our ancestors and children have lessons to teach us. If we can learn to lead from the bottom, we may be open to seeing things in a new way and to bring solutions that are by the people, and for the people. I not only have the experience necessary to represent you in the Democratic party, I also have a vision and an open mind that is willing to listen, learn, and grow.
